What you can do with Packrooster free plan

Packrooster Shipping comes with different plans, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your individual needs.


The Starter plan is free of monthly subscription costs. As a Shopify merchant, you only pay for the shipping and return labels you create with Packrooster Shipping.


The Starter plan is designed to meet the needs of Shopify merchants using the Shopify Basic plan without the carrier service, but it can of course also be used by merchants on higher Shopify plans.


Here are the key features of the Packrooster Shipping Starter plan that help you streamline your order processing:


Integrate carriers to your Shopify store

By adding the API credentials of your shipping carriers into Packrooster Shipping, you can automatically link the correct shipping method in Shopify to the corresponding carrier shipping method. Here's an example:

You are based in Sweden and use PostNord Parcel Locker as your domestic pickup point shipping method.

You have configured a shipping method in Shopify called "Delivery – PostNord parcel locker", and you want to use PostNord Parcel Locker when a customer selects this method at checkout.

After entering the API credentials under Packrooster → Settings → Shipping carriers, navigate to Packrooster → Settings → Connect shipping methods to create the connection.


Now, the Shopify shipping method is linked to the carrier's shipping method!


Create shipping labels directly from Shopify

You no longer need to manually create shipping labels in the carriers’ systems. When a customer places an order and selects "Delivery – PostNord Parcel Locker", the method is automatically connected to the correct carrier method.

When you open the order for fulfillment in Packrooster, you'll see the following view:

Now you can create the fulfillment and shipping label by pressing "Send packed products".

The customer will be notified that the order is being processed and will receive a tracking code. If needed, you can also change the pickup point location before fulfillment. By default, Packrooster will automatically select the closest pickup point based on the customer's address.


Automated customs declaration

Sending shipments that require customs declarations? Packrooster has that automated in Starter plan too. Packrooster automatically checks if the shipment requires customs documentations to be sent, for example if you are shipping from Sweden to the United States. Customs documentation is generated automatically and supports paperless trade; you don't have to print and send out any customs documentation if the destination country and the carrier you are using supports PLT, as most do. With Packrooster Shipping, the app will automatically give you printable custom documents if paperless trade is not possible
