Product scanning

Product scanning is one of the main and if you ask us, the most important features of Enterprise-plan and enables you to wave goodbye to order processing mistakes and the return processes those mistakes cause.

When Enterprise plan is activated, you can activate product scanning in the General settings of Packrooster Shipping.

You can decide to use the product search by product barcode, SKU or Variant ID.

When product scanning is activated, a product scanning field is displayed on the order processing page of the app.

After opening the order, you must scan your products to the order. After every product of the order has been scanned, the order processing automations configured in the apps General settings,

Preventing shipment errors

What happens when you have collected wrong product for the customer? If you try to scan wrong product that has different barcode (or any other property you are scanning) than the products of the order, Packrooster will notify you with an error sound and a popup window. This is to ensure that no wrong item is sent to the customer from your warehouse again!
