Carrier rates and free shipping limit
When you are configuring shipping methods and pickup points to Packrooster Shipping, you can set a free shipping limit to each delivery method. There are a couple of important things to note when doing so.
All third party carrier apps like Packrooster Shipping get the data of the order, items and customer from Shopify's carrier service request. Carrier service request does not contain data from discount codes. The order value also always arrives in Shop currency, not customer currency.
This causes that when determining if the order value exceeds the free shipping limit configured in Packrooster Shipping, Packrooster can't take into account the discount code. Also you can't configure the free shipping limit in customer currency, as Packrooster always gets the order value in shop currency, even if the customer uses different currency configured in Shopify Markets.
In Shopify you can configure various discounts. For free shipping you can create an automatic discount. With automatic discount that requires a minimum order value and excludes the shipping rate amount after the minimum order value is met, you can make the delivery methods in Packrooster Shipping also take into account the discount codes.
