FedEx integration

With Packrooster Shipping you can connect FedEx shipping methods to your Shopify store, create shipping labels and use paperless trade for customs declarations.


Integrating FedEx shipping services is done with multi-factor authentication process in Packrooster shipping carrier settings. Open Packrooster —> Settings —> Shipping carriers —> FedEx

  1. Read and accept the EULA
  2. Type in your FedEx account information — Account number, Customer name, Street address, Postal code, City and Country code
  3. Proceed and select the method of multi factor authentication — Invoice details less than 90 days old or Secure code. With secure code you can select the best option for you; Secure code by SMS, Email or Call.
  4. Finish the multi-factor authentication —> FedEx services are now available

Now you can start creating FedEx shipping methods to Packrooster or connect shipping methods from Shopify to delivery options like Regional Economy or International Connect Plus. You can also fulfill your FedEx orders directly from your Shopify Admin using Packrooster Shipping


Packaging types

For each FedEx shipment, a packaging type must be determined. You can choose the packaging type directly in the shipping method creation or for each shipment manually.

If you create the FedEx shipping method to Packrooster Shipping and select the packaging type here, Packrooster will automatically use the selected packaging type for shipments.


If you use Shopify shipping methods connected in Packrooster Shipping, packaging type is not automatically selected and you must select it yourself. If no packaging type is selected, Packrooster will automatically use FedEx Box as a packaging type
