Missing HS/Tariff code
Different kind of error messages about missing HS-codes or tariff codes can be seen in Packrooster Shipping. These error messages appear either from shipping carrier API or Packrooster itself.
Usually the error occurs because you are trying to create a shipment requiring customs handling. Shipments that require customs handling must have HS-codes/Tariff codes added to the product in Shopify as the information is mandatory in the customs process.
You can fix the error by opening the product in Shopify and adding a HS-code information to the customs information section of the product. The search tool by United States International Trade Commission is one good tool to search for HS tariff codes. After you have the information added to the product, fulfillment is possible with Packrooster Shipping.
