Connecting shipping methods from Shopify to Packrooster Shipping

With Packrooster Shipping, you are able to connect the shipping methods created to Shopify, so that when you are processing orders with Packrooster Shipping the order automatically gets the connected shipping method.

At first, choose which shipping method from Shopify you want to connect to Packrooster Shipping

Then proceed to Packrooster Shipping and select Settings → Connect shipping methods

Fill the required fields as so:

”Shipping method name” : The desired shipping method from Shopify

”Shipping carrier” : The carrier of whose shipping method you want to connect

"Shipping Method" : The shipping method

Press ”+ Create”

The shipping method is now connected! From now on, whenever the Shopify shipping method is selected at your stores checkout, it automatically connects to the shipping method connected to Packrooster while you are processing the order with the app. Before you fulfill the order you can of course change the shipping method if that is necessary.

Pro tip: You can use the asterisk sign (*) to truncate the shipping methods name from wanted spot. This can be utilized in situations where the shipping method is given extra identifiers in your Shopify store and you want to connect them to the same shipping method in Packrooster. For example:

Name of shipping method 1: Shipping|Shipping1|extraInfo|EN:543235

Name of shipping method 2: Shipping|Shipping2|anotherExtraInfo|US:354042

To the ”Connect shipping methods” section in Packrooster Shipping you can write ” Shipping|* ”. Then the app connects the shipping method of the carrier to all orders of which's shipping method starts with the text ” Shipping| ”
